Gagan-Narang-Created -History-For -India

Hats Off to Gagan Narang on winning the bronze medal in the men's 10-metre air rifle event of the 2012 London Olympics. Narang shot 103.1 in a gripping ten-shot finals for an aggregate of 701.1 after scoring 598 in the qualifying round in which also he stood 3rd.
Narang is the first Indian sportsman to win a medal in the London Olympics.

"I join the nation in congratulating shooter Gagan Narang on his winning the Olympic bronze medal in the 10 metre air rifle event. I wish Narang more success in the two other events he is participating in," the prime minister said in a statement.


The Haryana government Monday announced a reward of Rs.one crore for shooter Gagan Narang for winning a bronze medal at london olympics.

    But Sorry to say this worlds second largest population country could only produce only 1 medal that's a shame.. to the country
